Last weekend I went to visit the small but very important Strasbourg, France. It's home to a lot of European Union activity and it's located in the Alsace region of France that's always trying to separate itself from France and is very German influenced because thoughout all the wars it would be the first place to get occupied by Germany. Now it belongs to France but a lot of German culture filters in. When I went it was sunny and 75 - while it was cold and cloudy/rainy in Paris...good trade off!
