Internship Update

So after quite a few weeks of waiting for Lanvin to give me an answer, it turns out that the woman who would be in charge of me just couldn't decide if she could have room/time for an intern because she was already too busy :/

She still had not made her mind this past Monday so Aimee - the woman in charge of getting our internships - was going to see if any other places wanted to meet with me. Three hours later she had a call back from a fashion PR firm called Quartier General saying they wanted to meet with me the following day!

This company focuses on brand/image management for fashion labels that want to start or revamp their image in France. They represent multiple brands such as 7 for all mankind, Custo Barcelona, Antik Batik, Acote, and Cotelac. They do anything from redesigning a brand's look book, throwing launch parties, setting up fashion shows, and writing to local and international press about a brand's new collection.

Their offices comprise of a few tables with computers where everyone is working together and then a large showroom with racks and racks of clothes and accessories : ) There is no formal dress code and they play Jack Johnson while they work. I start on Monday the 16th after I get back from my week in Morocco!
