Lunch Chez Carette

My most amazing dessert in Paris: fresh cinnamon roll and hot chocolate.

I know I have been absent from the blog for a week or so but it's been a crazy last few days I've had in Paris and I've had to take advantage of all the time I have left. One day I got out of work early before a meeting at BU and I decided to go out and treat myself to lunch at Carette - a "luxury" pastry shop in the 16th district in Place Trocadero. It was packed at lunch time and I got a table in the back. I ate a traditional quiche - which was THE best quiche I have ever had (the perfect fluffiness, flakiness of the crust, and temperature). I then topped it off with a roll and chocolate chaud (picture above). This place definitely made my "must" list if you ever get to go to Paris.

I am off today to Greece and I will have to make a lot of retroactive posts so that I can fill you in on my 2nd trip to Prague with my friends and my last week in Paris - and then of course Greece at the end!
