Fashion Week

So here is the whole story on Paris Fashion Week:

Like I said before, I found all the contact information for the press offices in charge of each designers fashion show and e-mailed them to see that on the off chance they would let me attend their show - or at least help at it. 5 people e-mailed me back positively (Christophe Josse - which was mentioned in my earlier post, Stephane Rolland, Elie Saab, Miharayasuhiro and Henrik Vibskov). The first three are all women's haute couture designers, whereas the last two are mens pret-a-porter (a.k.a. ready-to-wear).

Last night was the Henrik Vibskov show. He is a very bizarre man (as seen in the pictures above), but he did put on a good show. The place was packed and attracted a lot of good press - Vogue homme, Women's Wear Daily, etc. Previous shows had Kanye West and Jay Z attend, but no one that I recognized was there. I helped organize the seating (highlight the VIP seats and standing room area) and usher all the attendees into there. Since the press office is based in Germany, I was one of the only people helping that knew French. It acutally came in handy when I had to help some french photographers find where to set up .

Here are some links to the different designers:
